Writing as a thinking tool
Writing regularly about your obsessions makes you better at them. Every essay clarified my thinking about taste, and that clarity fed directly into the products I was building. The newsletter became a forcing function for articulating ideas that were otherwise just instincts. Putting those instincts into words turned them into frameworks I could actually use.
