Culture doesn't move in one direction
Culture doesn't move in one direction. It ripples across domains. Signals & Shifts tracks those ripples in real time — what's emerging, what's confirming, and what's fading. Built as a dashboard, not a feed, because trends need structure to be useful. Each of the five domains — music, design, food, fashion, and tech — has tracked signals (emerging patterns) and confirmed shifts (established changes). The format makes it possible to see connections across categories that would be invisible in a timeline.
Every trend starts as a signal. The question is whether you notice it before it becomes obvious.
Culture is a system, not a timeline
Building this made me think about interconnections — how a food trend might signal a design shift, how tech changes create fashion moments. Culture is a system of overlapping forces, and the most interesting insights come from watching the overlaps. A dashboard format forces that systems thinking in a way that scrolling a feed never does.
Track what's emerging across music, design, food, fashion, and tech.
